The new cases were detected after 325,016 tests were conducted across the country to screen for the virus. The health ministry also announced 1,605 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total recovery count to 914,192. No deaths were reported in the previous 24 hours, keeping the death toll unchanged at 2,309.
