UAE reports 189 Covid-19 cases, 1 death

The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention reported 189 Covid-19 cases on October 4, raising the total number of recorded cases to 736,897.

The new infections were detected, after 261,502 tests were conducted across the country to screen for the virus.

The health ministry also announced 287 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of recovered patients to 729,835.

With one additional death due to Covid complications, the death toll has increased to 2,103.
