The new infections were detected, after 205,169 tests were conducted across the country to screen for the virus. The health ministry also reported 284 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total recovery count to 884,512. The ministry added that no Covid-19-related deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours, leaving the death toll unchanged at 2,302. The nationwide case count has risen to 900,484.
