UAE reports 2,708 Covid-19 cases, 743 recoveries

The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention has reported 2,708 Covid-19 infections on January 5.

The new cases were detected, following 469,028 tests conducted across the country to screen for the virus.

The health ministry also announced 743 recoveries to raise the total recovery count to 749,254.

Meanwhile, the nationwide case count stands at 774,897.
