Home Covid-19 UAE reports 2,989 Covid-19 cases, 4 deaths The nationwide case count has risen to 808,237 by Zainab Mansoor January 17, 2022 The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has reported 2,989 Covid-19 cases on January 17. The new infections were detected, following 346,101 tests conducted across the country to screen for the virus. The health ministry announced 945 recoveries in the last 24 hours as well, raising the recovery count to 761,213. Four deaths due to Covid-19 complications were also reported, increasing the related death toll to 2,195. Meanwhile, the nationwide case count has risen to 808,237.
