UAE reports 393 new Covid-19 cases, death toll touches 300
The total number of recoveries in the UAE has reached 30,996
The UAE reported 393 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, taking the overall number of infections in the country to 44,145.
The new cases were detected after more than 38,000 additional Covid-19 tests were conducted across the country, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) said.
All of the new cases in a stable condition and are receiving the necessary care, a statement said.
The ministry also announced the death of two infected people, taking the overall death toll to 300.

Meanwhile, 755 patients have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries in the UAE to 30,996.
The ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to all patients.
It also urged the public to adhere to the precautionary measures in the country.
