The new cases were detected, after 252,836 tests were conducted to screen for the virus. The health ministry also announced 334 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total recovery count to 889,943. No deaths were reported in the previous 24 hours, leaving the death toll unchanged at 2,302. The Covid-19 nationwide case count has risen to 906,236.
