The deceased, belonging to different nationalities, suffered from pre-existing chronic illnesses, the ministry said. The UAE also announced 265 new recoveries from the virus after receiving the necessary treatment, taking the total number of recoveries in the country to 3,837. Also, @mohapuae announced that nine people of different nationalities who tested positive for COVID-19 died due to complications. This brings the total death toll to 174.
