UAE reports 987 Covid-19 cases, 2 deaths
The health ministry also reported 1,554 recoveries in the past 24 hours
The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has reported 987 Covid-19 cases on August 29, raising the total number of recorded cases to 716, 381.
The new cases were detected, following 348,771 tests conducted across the country to screen for the virus.
The health ministry also reported 1,554 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total recoveries to 702,102.
Two additional deaths due to Covid-19-related complications were also announced. The death toll stands at 2,038.
