UAE reports 998 new Covid cases, 989 recoveries
The Covid-19 nationwide case count has risen to 996,775
The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention has reported 998 Covid-19 cases on August 5.
The new cases were detected after 244,993 tests were conducted across the country to screen for the virus.
The health ministry also announced 989 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total recovery count to 975,590.
Two deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, keeping the death toll to 2,337.
