The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Committee for the Covid-19 Pandemic in partnership with the Department of Health (DoH) Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Police has announced that permission to enter the capital emirate will only be granted to those who hold a negative test result, not older than 48 hours, Abu Dhabi Media Office tweeted. Test results must be presented via the Alhosn app or text messages from any UAE-based hospital or screening centre that is affiliated with the National Screening Programme. The entry of non-Abu Dhabi-based workers is still prohibited, the tweet read. Abu Dhabi initially announced the movement ban for a period of one week starting June 2, during which permits were required to move between the cities of the emirate. It was subsequently renewed twice.
