The meeting addressed bilateral relations between the UAE and the US, as well as opportunities to enhance ties in all fields, particularly across economy, investment, and commerce, in line with the two countries’ priorities in achieving sustainable prosperity and serving their mutual interests. In attendance were Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court and other senior leaders and officials from both countries. UAE – US trade The US Secretary of Commerce also met with the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Dr Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, in Abu Dhabi. The two sides discussed non-oil trade opportunities and discussed ways for the two nations to strengthen their bilateral relationship, which exceeds $21.6bn so far this year, as per the US Department of Commerce. Secretary Raimondo expressed her commitment to increase cooperation in priority sectors, such as clean energy, sustainable industrial development, and advanced technology.
