Potential dust storms with light to moderate wind and overcast conditions are expected, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) tweeted.
“Fair to partly cloudy. Clouds appear eastward may be convective by afternoon. Humid by night and Monday morning over some coastal and internal areas. Light to moderate wind, freshening at times, causing blowing dust and sand during daytimes. The sea will be moderate, becoming rough by evening westwards in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea,” NCM said in a statement.
Patches of fog formation were recorded over Dubai-Al Ain road, Sweihan, and Al Mafra (Al Dafra) region.
The UAE recorded its lowest temperature of 23.1°C in Al Tawi at 5am today.
Temperatures will vary between 28-43°C in the coastal areas, between 27-46°C in the internal areas and 24-39°C in the mountains.
Similar cloud cover is expected to continue for the rest of the week, with potential fog and mist formations anticipated on June 23 and 25, NCM added.
