Fresh gusts reaching 40km/h are expected across the UAE, from 12am until 7pm today, April 15, the UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has said.
The winds will cause blowing dust, reducing the horizontal visibility to less than 2,000m over some coastal and internal areas, NCM added.
“The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea,” the NCM said in its weather bulletin.
The UAE recorded its lowest temperature of 20.9°C in Barakah (Al Dhafra region) at 5.45am today.
Temperatures across internal areas in the UAE are expected to scale to as high as 46°C on Friday, with lows touching 22°C. Meanwhile, temperatures will hover between 23-41°C in the coastal areas and islands, and between 21-34°C among the mountains.
