UAE weather update: Fresh winds, rough sea conditions anticipated; NCM issues alert
The UAE recorded its lowest temperature of 11.4°C in Jabal Jais at 5.15am today
Fresh gusts reaching 40km/h are expected across the UAE, from 6am today until 6am tomorrow, February 22, the UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has said.
Rough sea conditions with wave heights reaching 2–4/6 ft in the Arabian Gulf during the same time period are also expected, NCM added.

“Dusty and partly cloudy in general and cloudy at times over some coastal and Northern areas, with a decrease in temperatures,” the NCM said in its weather bulletin.
Moderate to fresh winds and strong at times especially over the sea causing suspended and blowing dust and sand reducing the horizontal visibility over some exposed areas [are also anticipated], it added.
The UAE recorded its lowest temperature of 11.4°C in Jabal Jais (Ras Al Khaimah) at 5.15am today morning.
Temperatures across internal areas in the UAE are expected to scale to as high as 28°C on Monday, with lows touching 12°C. Meanwhile, temperatures will hover between 18-26°C in the coastal areas and islands, and between 10-20°C among the mountains.
