Home GCC UAE UAE weather update: Rain, fog hit parts of the country The lowest temperature recorded over the UAE today was 6.3°C in Raknah at 3.15am local time by Zainab Mansoor January 3, 2021 Light to moderate showers were recorded over Saadiyat Island in the capital emirate, while moderate rain pelted across the Abu Dhabi Island in the early hours of the morning, the National Centre of Meterology (NCM) has confirmed. Fog over Al Sila and Al Qheweifat in the Al Dhafra area, as well as over Al Khatam road toward Abu Dhabi was recorded. Temperatures will vary between 13-25°C in the coastal areas, 10-29°C within the internal areas and between 5-17°C in the mountains.
