UAE weather update: Rain, overcast conditions expected this week

Overcast conditions with rain are expected across the UAE this week, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has said.

Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions, winds as well as a chance of rainfall are anticipated to continue for the rest of the week.

Earlier this week, NCM took to social media to issue expected temperatures across multiple cities. Dubai is anticipated to see lows of 17°C and highs of 24°C. Temperatures in Abu Dhabi to hit lows of 15°C and highs of 22°C.

The UAE recorded its lowest temperature of 15°C in Raknah (Al Ain) at 6.30am and in Jais Mountain (Ras Al Khaimah) at 5.30am local time today.

“Partly cloudy to cloudy and hazy at times with a probability of rainfall over the sea, islands and some coastal, Northern and Western areas,” NCM said in its weather bulletin.

Temperatures will range from 12-36°C in the internal areas, 13-26°C across mountains and 15-35°C in coastal areas and islands.
