UAE weather update: Some rainfall expected; overcast conditions forecast for rest of the week
The UAE recorded its lowest temperature of 20.6°C in Jais Mountain at 2.45am today
Overcast conditions with some rainfall is expected across the UAE today.
“Fair to partly cloudy, with a chance of convective clouds formation by afternoon Eastward, may be associated with some rainfall. Light to moderate winds, freshening at times, causing blowing dust. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea,” National Centre of Meterology (NCM) said in a statement.
Temperatures will vary between 22-39°C in the coastal areas, between 21-44°C in the internal areas and 19-31°C in the mountains.

Overcast conditions with light to moderate winds prompting potential dust storms are expected to persist over the rest of the week. Meanwhile, some rainfall is also expected tomorrow, May 17.
