Home GCC UAE UAE weather update: Temperatures to hit 49°C, NCM issues alert The UAE recorded its lowest temperature of 21.3°C in Jebel Mebreh at 5.15am local time today by Zainab Mansoor June 23, 2022 Temperatures are expected to hit highs of 49°C and lows of 25°C in the internal areas of the country, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has said. However, temperatures will hover between 24-36°C amid the mountains and range from 27°C till 46°C across the coastal areas and islands, NCM added in its weather bulletin. Light and moderate winds, freshening at times, especially Eastward and Northward are expected today. Winds may cause blowing dust and sand may reduce horizontal visibility. NCM also took to Twitter to issue a dust alert, advising residents to be on the lookout should they pursue outdoor activities. Meanwhile, the weather is expected to be hot during daytime, and dusty and partly cloudy at times.
