Temperatures across internal areas in the UAE are expected to scale to as high as 49°C on Monday, with lows touching 44°C.
Meanwhile, temperatures will hover between 40-44°C in the coastal areas and islands, and between 32-37°C among the mountains.
“Fair to partly cloudy and some low clouds appear by morning over the East coast, with a chance of some convective clouds formation Eastward by afternoon maybe rainy, hot during daytime. Light to moderate winds, freshening at times during daytime causing blowing dust,” the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said in a statement.
The country recorded its lowest temperature of 24.4°C in Abu Dhabi at 6am today, and in Al Ain at 2.30am local time.
