The Ministry of Education in the UAE took to social media to announce its intent to pilot test the electronic exam system for public schools.
The initial mandatory assessment of the electronic testing system will cover mathematics for grades 5-12.
A total of two 30-minute sessions will be held, at 1pm and later 3pm on April 13.
Students will be expected to download the Safe Exam browser, and will log in with a password generated via a given link.
On Sunday, March 30, the UAE extended the distance learning programme – originally slated to end on April 4, with schools expected to resume on April 5 – until the end of the academic year.
