The jackpot prize started at Dhs35m in the first edition of the draw and then increased every week by Dhs5m until it reached its cap of Dhs50m where it will remain until it is claimed. In the fourth edition of the draw held on May 9, two Dubai residents, a Syrian and a Pakistani shared the Dhs1m cash prize as they matched five out of the chosen six numbers. Muhammad Khalid, a 36 year-old engineer from Pakistan who has lived in UAE for eight years also said that he hopes to support charities and community causes with his prize money. The fatwa-approved lottery is open to people located in any part of the world. To participate, they must purchase a collectable card priced at Dhs35 via the lottery’s website, or select stores in the UAE, and choose six numbers between 1-49.
