The eight-part series, sponsored by Du, will feature on the Dubai One channel. Aspiring entrepreneurs pitch their business concepts and products to the judges, and after rounds of elimination, one is chosen as the winner. “Our contestants represent the cream of the nation’s entrepreneurial spirit, and we hope to not only provide them with the know-how that will help their businesses to flourish, but to inspire others across the emirates to follow in their footsteps,” said Hala Badri, executive vice president, Brand and Communications, Du. Apart from the cash prize and the obvious media exposure, the winner will also receive a guaranteed investment opportunity and a business meeting to set their idea on track. The judges include Abdul Baset Al Janahi, CEO, The Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for SME Development, Muna Al Gurg, director of Retail, Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, Nisreen Shocair, president, Virgin Megastore, MENA, and Yogesh Mehta, founder and managing director, Petrochem.
