According to the latest YouGov research titled ‘Sizzling Summers: Unveiling Leisure and Entertainment Trends in the GCC,’ Global Village has emerged as the top attraction, drawing the highest number of visitors over the past 12 months. Among UAE residents, nearly two out of five individuals chose Global Village as their preferred destination for entertainment, dining, shopping, and overall attractions. Over a third of all surveyed individuals expressed their intention to visit Global Village in the coming year. During Season 27, Global Village achieved a significant milestone by hosting a record-breaking nine million guests. This showcased the representation of over 90 cultures across 27 pavilions, with more than 40,000 performances from individuals representing 40 different nationalities. Guests were treated to an abundance of experiences, including over 175 rides and attractions, the opportunity to shop and dine at over 3,250 outlets, and the delight of witnessing 77 unique fireworks displays. Earlier this month, Global Village made an announcement regarding the extension of its opening time for Season 28. The season will commence on October 18, 2023, and continue until April 28, 2024.
