The attraction was closed in March when the UAE imposed restrictions to tackle the spread of the coronavirus. As part of its reopening, social distancing measures have been introduced, including markers indicating where people can stand and watch, according to a video posted by Dubai Media Office on Twitter. Malls and private sector businesses are now allowed to operate to 100 per cent capacity provided they adhere to certain restrictions, while public beaches and restaurants have also reopened. Last week, the UAE also confirmed that it will resume limited commercial passenger flight operations at airports across the country. The decision includes Abu Dhabi International Airport, Dubai International Airport, and Sharjah International Port, and covers Etihad Airways, Emirates, flydubai, and Air Arabia.
