The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has announced it can now issue work permits in as little as two working days, thanks to a new smart committee service. The announcement came as the Ministry showcases its technologies and innovations at GITEX Technology Week. In a tweet, the Ministry said applications can also be made electronically, 24 hours per day. Within two working days, business owners can obtain work permits through the smart committee service, which actions the establishment’s request electronically and around the clock. Taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the 39th edition of GITEX Technology Week features business, governmental organisations and more from throughout the Middle East and world showcasing their latest technological innovations.
