Home GCC Saudi Arabia What’s On Saudi Arabia launches Arabic site The English version of the website launched in January 2021 by Varun Godinho September 29, 2021 What’s On Saudi Arabia has announced the launch of the Arabic edition of its website, whatsonsaudiarabia.com/ar. The English version of the website launched earlier this year in January, with information on food, travel, news, culture, sport and entertainment from the kingdom. What’s On Saudi Arabia has reportedly already received thousands of online visitors via its social channels and website. It added that the content on Saudi website will have a strong focus on Riyadh and Jeddah, while also catering to developments from other parts of the country. “We are very excited to be launching What’s On Saudi Arabia in Arabic. More people than ever can enjoy and interact with our content making the most of their experiences in the kingdom,” said Ian Fairservice, managing partner of Motivate Media Group. Launched in 1979, What’s On was the first ever magazine in the region. It is part of the Dubai-headquartered Motivate Media Group, whose other titles include Gulf Business, Emirates Woman and Campaign Middle East, among others. Motivate recently signed a partnership with Israel-based broadcaster i24 News to collaborate on producing and distributing content. As part of the deal, both companies will partner on multiple fronts including producing new forms of content across digital, print and broadcast.
