The flights from Abu Dhabi to Tel Aviv will be operated thrice per week in April, moving to daily flights in May. The announcement follows Abu Dhabi adding Israel to the ‘green list’ of countries on Monday. April 5. Passengers arriving from the green list destinations are exempt from mandatory quarantine measures after landing in Abu Dhabi and will only be required to undergo PCR testing upon arrival at Abu Dhabi Airport. The connection between the two cities is a historic moment – the link between the UAE and Israel will further contribute to the tourism sector and help to diversify the local economy, while bringing new low-fare business and leisure opportunities for travellers,” said Kees Van Schaick, Managing Director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi. Etihad will initially offer two weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv, with the route serviced by the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
