The exclusive 2,500 tickets priced at Dhs49, are available on February 17-18, 2021 on the carrier’s website and app, for selected flights from Abu Dhabi to Alexandria or Alexandria to Abu Dhabi. In both cases of one-way and return flights, the ticket fare is displayed in the currency of the departure country. This offer, however, does not apply to group bookings. The 2,500 tickets include all seats on the airline’s inaugural flight to Alexandria on February 22, with the remaining special fare of Dhs49 for a one-way ticket is available on a first-come-first-serve basis across select flights to or from Alexandria. One-way price, includes taxes, administration, and other non-optional charges. Kees Van Schaick, managing director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi said: “We are delighted to offer travellers keen to visit loved ones or interested in exploring the amazing destinations of Alexandria and Abu Dhabi, the opportunity to do so affordably.” Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, the result of a joint venture partnership between ADQ and Wizz Air Holdings, is steadily expanding its route network to destinations including Athens, Thessaloniki, Alexandria, Tel Aviv, Kutaisi, Larnaca, Odesa and Yerevan. Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has four brand new Airbus A321neo aircraft. The airline began operations with its inaugural flight to Athens on January 15 from the Abu Dhabi International Airport.
