Home GCC UAE World’s biggest Hampton by Hilton opens in UAE’s Marjan Island The 515-key Hampton by Hilton Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah has a development value of Dhs450m by Varun Godinho August 16, 2021 Hampton by Hilton Marjan Island, the world’s largest Hampton by Hilton hotel, has opened in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE. The fourth global hotel brand to open in Al Marjan Island, Hampton by Hilton has a development value of Dhs450m and is expected to support Ras Al Khaimah’s tourism development strategy. The 515-key Hampton by Hilton Marjan Island is located on a 750-metre beach. Its architecture is inspired by the motion of the sea, with the hotel boasting of a dedicated landscaped outdoor areas and terraces. Special features of the hotel include a triple-height lobby entrance and a modern design for façade elevations. The hotel has been built using green building materials underlining its focus on promoting environmental sustainability. Hampton by Hilton Marjan Island has several F&B outlets including an all-dining restaurant Flavors. Other dining options include the Surfs Up beach food truck, the H2O pool bar and The View lobby café. The hotel is also connected to two a la carte concept restaurants – CLAW BBQ and the soon to open Karma Kafé. It also has an infinity pool, wellness and fitness centre, indoor kids and teens club with four action areas and outdoor safe play areas for children adjacent to the kids pool. With four islands, Al Marjan has a total of 7.8 kilometres of beaches, 23 kilometres of waterfront, 6,500 planned residential units, 8,000 planned hotel rooms and 400-room wellness retreats and 600 holiday villas. Al Marjan Island has over 2,100 operational hotel keys, including the new hotel as well as Rixos Hotels, Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Accor Hotels brands, and more than 2,000 residential units including Bab Al Bahar residential and Pacific by Select Group. There are plans to develop additional 2,400 hotel-, residential- and mixed-use units by 2025 with several already under design review or in different stages of completion. “With the new Hampton by Hilton Marjan Island opening doors to guests, visitors to Ras Al Khaimah have an added hospitality destination to choose, assuring them world-class service and a relaxed beach lifestyle.
