The global launch of Xiaomi 13 series was livestreamed on the brand’s official channels on February 26, a day before MWC. By offering a wide range of products and services, Xiaomi is setting a new benchmark and demonstrating how its flagship series embodies its commitment to innovation, with better camera capabilities and stylish design. Located in Hall 3 of Fira Barcelona Gran Via, the company is showcasing its offerings to an audience of approximately 80,000 anticipated attendees. During the event, visitors can have an exclusive sneak peek at Xiaomi’s latest innovations including the most innovative CyberDog and CyberOne. Xiaomi 13 series Xiaomi’s market share in terms of smartphone shipments ranked third globally in the second quarter of 2022, according to Canalys, reflecting its product and market reach. The Xiaomi 13 Series smartphone lineup is co-engineered with Leica and features professional optics and advanced computational capabilities. For exceptional performance, Xiaomi also included Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Surge battery management. In collaboration with Leica, Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro aim to provide a brand-new smartphone photography experience through in-depth product collaborations. The brand also introduced the 13 Lite, which is said to deliver excellent portrait imaging and extended photography options. “I am truly impressed with the Xiaomi 13 Series – it’s a real game changer for me,” said Steve McCurry, a renowned photographer. He is featured in the International Photography Hall of Fame, the recipient of the Leica Hall of Fame Award and is a Leica ambassador. The Xiaomi 13 Series is available for sale in the UAE, starting March 8, via the brand’s official channels. AIoT offerings Xiaomi has established the world’s leading consumer AIoT (AI+IoT) platform, with 526.9 million smart devices connected to its platform as of June 30, 2022, excluding smartphones, tablets and laptops. The company launched its latest suite of AIoT products along with the Xiaomi 13 Series. The lineup includes Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro, Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro and Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra. Xiaomi’s Buds 4 Pro feature an upgraded TWS, active noise cancellation, dimensional audio, a nine-hour battery life, dual-device connectivity, and wireless charging. The Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro combines traditional watch design with the latest smartwatch technology, presenting a 1.47-inch AMOLED display, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass and real-time tracking for over 100 different sports activities. Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra is the first Xiaomi scooter with a dual suspension system and self-sealing 10-inch tires.
